Advertising
Advertising is all about promoting the image and interests of a company. It also seeks to increase the sales of the company's products. Advertising is ‘communicating by other means'.
Advertising engages a variety of media to promote a product, message, idea or service. Advertising media can range from magazines, posters, neon and fluorescent signboards, billboards, commercials on TV, Internet, laser shows to inflated aerial objects.
Every company has to advertise in some form or the other. In a crowded and highly competitive world every commercial or trading establishment has to fight to attract even a moment of the buyer's attention. An advertising campaign has to be carefully thought out, researched, designed and executed using the most effective means possible.
